I have travelled few important cities of India like Jaiselmer, Puskar, Delhi, Mount Abu, Haridwar, Jagannath Puri etc. However, few memories are unforgettable.
I was excited when we planned our Rajasthan trip. The very first day when we reached Jodhpur, we visited Umaid Bhavan Palace, Mandore Garden, Meharangarh fort. Even we loved Dal bati taste!
We started for Jaiselmer on second day evening. It was a night journey and morning 5 am we were at Jaiselmer station. We were having a lovely view of Golden fort from our hotel. We visited Moti sagar, Kuldhara, Sand dunes in two days stay over there. The carved Jain Mandir’s were beautiful at Motisagar.
I really wonder how the artist have worked in desert and created the most beautiful carving at Motisagar, Patwa ki haveli. I salute those artists who have worked in abnormal weather condition, with scarcity of water and where the place is surrounded with sand. This was my unforgettable travel experience.
I am taking part in The Write Tribe Festival of Words 8th – 14th December 2013.You will also love mind-blowing entries from my friends @ Travel – Festival of Words – Day 5
Beautiful tribute to the artisans. I have always wanted to visit Rajasthan and experience the beautiful of sheer magnitude.
