Posted by Recently I got one book on wild life photography. I really loved the photos so much that I thought to share about the photographer and his amazing art work for you all.
Being an Indian it’s our responsibility to preserve our wildlife. But to understand this we also should have knowledge about the rich wild life we have. If we could present it with others artistically, there is a chance that people will aware about it and few of them will take initiative to preserve them too.
“Capturing Wildlife Moments in India” is a book by Ashok Mahindra who has devoted full time for his photography hobby after his retirement. He travelled more than 30 parks, sanctuaries and other places for his photography and during this journey he found that the entire environmental system is seriously threatened. The intention of this book is to create awareness about this loss. He also setup a memorial foundation “Hem Chand Mahindra Wildlife Foundation” for conservation of wildlife.
For most of us, it is very difficult to visit wild life as it requires core dedication to go at remote places and face various difficulties in such areas. However, books on wild life can take us to wild life world. The same care has been taken by the author of this book. He has succeeded in bringing wild life very close to us. We can think of protecting wild life, only when we see it by our own and have that inner feeling of protecting it.
This book not just for known animals like Elephant, Rhino or Tiger but It also includes rare pictures of Mudskipper, House Sparrow, Little Egret, Golden Jackal , Rhesus Macaque , Water Monitor Lizard and Malabar Gliding Frog. Along with the picture you will get detailed information about that animal on the side, which makes the photo journey easy.
